With sensitivity beside 50 institutions and charitable organizations in H1 2014

With a sense of responsibility towards society, MEGA Disposables S.A, 100% Greek manufacturing company producing high-quality disposable products for personal hygiene, listening to the ever growing needs of vulnerable social groups, intensify its efforts, continuing to support the work of recognized social institutions in Greece.

In this direction, the company supported the first half of 2014 more than 50 institutions and NGOs, confirming in practice that is always with respect and sensitivity beside their efforts through product donations and financial support. Additionally, the company supports for years institutions with significant and long-standing work, caring of the child and family.

All the above actions follow the company’s help in society, always with anthropocentric philosophy. Indicative, MEGA, during 2013 responded to the demands concerning charity NGOs, institutions, municipalities and others, offering a total of 1,500,000 products for relief of less privileged social groups.  Under the action “We support the physical and mental health of the child” MEGA Disposables sponsored the campaign “Preventing accidents to children” by Pediatric Trauma Union.

Furthermore, the company ensures sustainable development, with a series of actions to protect the environment and is certified by environmental system ISO 14001, an internationally recognized standard for environmental management.
